Morgan Hunter was founded in 1986 with the goal of personalizing an impersonal industry. Instead of being a “resume clearinghouse” like other firms, Morgan Hunter is focused on building strong relationships with clients and job seekers.
1986
Jerry Hellebusch founded Morgan Hunter in the fall of 1986, establishing the Accounting & Finance and the Administrative Division.
1988
Information Technology Division established.
1990
Signature Staffing, a subsidiary of Morgan Hunter, was founded to conduct temporary and contract placements.
1993
Morgan Hunter began offering retained search solutions.
1997
Human Resources Division established.
1999
Sales, Marketing & Operations Division established.
2000
Morgan Hunter purchased the building and established headquarters at 7600 W. 110th Street in Overland Park, Kansas.
2002
Morgan Hunter Healthcare was founded to provide contract staffing and consultancy services for the Healthcare IT industry.
2005
Morgan Hunter absorbed Signature Staffing and began offering temporary staffing solutions.
2007
MHED was founded to provide substitute teacher staffing for the schools in Kansas and Missouri.
2016
Morgan Hunter celebrated 30 years serving Kansas City.
2021
Morgan Hunter celebrated 35 Years of helping job seekers and employers to #FindTheRightFit
